Venus Wu is a Hong Kong illustrator based in Italy.
She loves drawing by hand and her work seeks to capture the energy and poetry of everyday life.
Her clients include Edizioni EL (Einaudi Ragazzi) and the Museum of Oriental Art (MAO) in Turin.
She has also presented her first solo exhibition at Ó! Galeria in Porto, Portugal.
Illustration is her second career. Before that, she worked as a print and video journalist in Hong Kong for an international news agency.
She grew up in Hong Kong, graduated from Cornell University and completed a three-year diploma in Illustration at the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED).
She is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, English and Italian.
